	Whether you are looking to learn to swim, to improve your technique, to swim for fun or to try to compete at the highest possible levels, there is a swimming scheme for you in Bradford.

Below is a listing of the independent swimming clubs in the Bradford area.

Another major source of swimming lessons in the area is the City of Bradford M.D.C. who offer Learn to Swim courses at most pools.

Lessons are also offered at several of the local private health and fitness clubs and by private swimming instructors.

Bradford Development Group

Together with the City of Bradford Swimming Club and the Swimming Development Unit of Bradford Council, these are members of the Bradford Development Group.

This aims to promote and develop the sport of Competitive Swimming in Bradford. One of the main events it promotes is the Rising Stars Gala Series, which are open to all young swimmers in the Bradford Area and which offer the chance to meet the clubs and assess their swimming standards in a fun and exciting way.
