Volunteer TrainingMEETING

Any Club is all about the people; those who take part in it and those who help to make it happen for them.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with the running of the club - whether you can offer just a few hours at one of our galas, to help with the day to day bits & pieces needed to make sure that things happen or if you are prepared to take on one of the more formal committee roles.

If you are interested, in the first instance contact our Volunteers Co-Ordinator, Sandy Fordham - or you can speak to any of the committee members.

Coaching for the scheme is provided by the City of Bradford Council under the leadership of  Andy Pearce, the Senior Coach.

If you have an interest in coaching swimmers and would be interested in finding out more, please contact  Andy .

In order to ensure the best possible swimming experience for the club’s members, City of Bradford SC has signed up to the Swim21 validation scheme. Operated by the Amateur Swimming Association, the governing body for British Swimming, this provides a framework of checks and standards to that clubs can test themselves against to make sure that they operate in a safe and professional manner.

The club is also committed to ensuring that all swimmers are treated in a fair and equal manner at all times and in all circumstances and that their welfare is of paramount importance.
